ABOUT OMNES AND ESG IN OUR INVESTMENTS O mnes Capital was established in 1999 as the venture capital and private equity team of Cr%u00e9dit Lyonnais, subsequently becoming the private equity arm of Cr%u00e9dit Agricole. Following independence in 2012, the firm progressively refocused around the structural transformations shaping the European and global economy. That refocusing was given definitive strategic form in 2023, when Omnes committed to concentrating exclusively on three interconnected global trends: electrification, security and sovereignty, and advanced technological innovation, pursued through four investment strategies: Energy Transition Infrastructure, Digital Infrastructure, Venture Capital & Growth, and Co-Investment.For more than 25 years, the firm has implemented a proactive approach to responsible investment. In 2006, Omnes became the first French private equity firm to invest in renewable energy. The firm became a signatory to the UN Principles for Responsible Investment in 2009, joined the Initiative Climat International (iCI) in 2016, and helped launch the French chapter of Level 20 in 2018. In the same year, Omnes signed the France Invest Investors for Growth Commitment Charter, committing to invest in companies and projects judged superior in both economic and ESG terms, and signed the France Invest Charter to promote gender parity in 2022. In 2024, Omnes joined Reframe Venture (formerly VentureESG), a global community dedicated to advancing sustainability integration across the venture capital ecosystem.
